maybe do you know why some players with scores similar to your earn more points than you do? I mean I was playing with someone that had 1239 and mine 1227 that player won the match but he/she received +11 and I've never won with similar scores to it, I mean I've just won maximum 6. I wanted to know if that's related with the strategy that player uses. can someone explain to me what is happening?

@goldendave If someone is inactive in Lichess for long periods of time, and when they come active after the long period of time and they play a game and win the game , they get more rating points than usual
